WEEK 09 - FORUM 06

FORUM 06

Ever since the pandemic hits the world early last year, a lot of public facilities went online or on a digital platform to showcase and experience their works and activities. The 'medium' has gone through extensive changes in terms of the content and program. Kindly read the article given in order to answer the questions below.

Question 01:  How will you use this advice for your proposal?

- Interactive maps by Musée du Louvre,
- VR tour by The National Gallery, The Louvre and The Vatican,
- Audio guides and 360° video of the architecture by The New York Metropolitan Museum of Art,
- Collection website by Whitney Museum of American Art, The British Museum, Art UK, Artnet, The Affordable Art Fair,            and Art Basel,
- Virtual Tool by The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History,
- Google Street Art tour and Google Arts and Culture by Google.

Most of the museums use their website to showcase the exhibition, art collection, and even the virtual tour of the space itself. By knowing these things that are currently happening due to the pandemic, I need to create something for people who would not be able to come to the gallery itself. Having a website, a good online marketing strategy, and more business plans for the gallery to goes on.

Question 02: Who are your inspirations for doing any design projects?

In the form of mankind, anyone could be my inspirations for doing any design projects. From watching a pedestrian walking along the street to a community meeting together to eat, exercise, and many more. It can suddenly occur from your family members, what do they need? What are their feelings at the moment and if I create something like this, will it help them? From no one to a well-known human figure, they can be my inspirations, by looking at them or knowing their experiences.
