ARC 60708 ADVANCED INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE DESIGN I

     Through the 16 weeks of the semester, I learnt a lot of things from the lecturers and my own mistakes. For the first few weeks, I was quite confused as we had to make our own project brief, choosing our own topic and issues. As time goes by, I got to understand what do we need to do even though at some point I was lost while doing my assignments. But, I tried my best to overcome it even though it was still lacking in some aspects. Through these 16 weeks, there are lots of ups and downs. When I was forgetting something important, the lecturers reminded me and makes me realized my own weakness. It makes me think over and over again about how can I overcome my own weakness. I keep on learning each and every day and it makes me think that I can't be perfect in every aspect. Despite that, I will still keep trying and do my best to learn. 

REFLECTIONS      After presenting the project to the reviewers, I got the comments from Ms Norji and Mr Ashraf. Regarding the medium, Mr Ashraf commented on the structure and mechanisms of the rotating rack since it is a two floors exhibition. So, based on these comments, I will work on upgrading the medium as I start working on the interior design.       Regarding the site, Ms Norji commented on the connection between my project and the site chosen. Since my medium looks "futuristic" with the chosen material for the medium itself. Meanwhile, my chosen site is an old building with materials used from the past. So she expected me to have a site with building materials like steel. It is not allowed for me to have an old historic exterior and then suddenly I have this very futuristic interior. Therefore, I need to work on how do I connect the building to the interior. From Mr Ashraf, he commented on doing research regarding the building do(s) and don't(s) for the wall or flo

     For the whole week, I focused on finishing the interior architecture monologue for the D esign Proposition and the final board presentation of Interior Architecture Design 1 for the presentation held on week 16.
